Once you are diagnosed, what are you supposed to do? There are a variety of solutions, and the right one for you depends on the severity of the problem. At our office in Payson, in Utah County, we use what is called the Thornton Adjustable Positioner, or TAP, which is a tray that you wear on your teeth when sleeping to help keep the airway open.
Keeping the airway open also reduces snoring, which your spouse will be especially grateful for.
